This is a Mock-Up Book Cover for the book "Bridge to Terabithia" by Katherine Paterson. Doing this project, I have learned how to use overlays, cut images, and how to use different types of media. My goal for this project was to replicate some of the elements found in the book (i.e River, Friendship, Fantasy) while also giving light to the fact that it is a children's book. My goal for this project was to make a cover that represented what the book was about. I feel like this was one of my favorite projects because of how much time and effort I put into it. I would like my audience to get that this is a wonderful kids book and they should actually buy a copy of it!
This is a movie poster for a made-up movie I made called "Dance of Affection." Doing this project I learned how to make patterns and use one color scheme for this project. My goal for this project was to convey my ideal plot and ideas this movie would have onto a poster. I feel like I used my color scheme really well to reach my goal. I would like my audience to look at this and go "I wish this was a real movie!"
I created a post card from the country Iceland. From this project I learned how to put a picture in letters, use filters, and use the text feature. My goal for this project was to represent Iceland in a way that it typically isn't using pictures of places that aren't the #1 attraction in Iceland. This being my first graphic design project, I feel like I did a good job with making sure all my elements matched and went well together to create my overall vision. I would like my audience to look at this piece and either want to visit Iceland or
