Pen Pals and Pool Time: A Splashy End-of-Year Celebration
Otselic Valley’s 2nd and 3rd grade students enjoyed a fun-filled trip to Sherburne, where they met their pen pals in person after months of writing letters back and forth. What began as a classroom writing activity turned into lasting connections, and the excitement of finally meeting face-to-face made the day even more special.
The event took place under sunny skies and included time to chat, play, and enjoy some well-deserved pool time. And in what may have been the highlight of the day, Mr. Gross surprised everyone by jumping into the pool -- fully dressed! (Watch it happen here).
