Blwyddyn Newydd Dda

It has been wonderful to see everyone back in school. We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable break.

Unfortunately, not all schools were able to remain open because of the weather conditions this week, so a big thank you to Mr Underwood for all his efforts this week in trying to make the school as accessible as possible so we could be open every day.

Our next PTA event is the Santes Dwynwen's Discos on Thursday 23rd January.

Seren Yr Wythnos

One of our brilliant young pupils, Charlie, bravely spoke to the whole school during Wednesday's assembly and told us about one of his friends, who is also a teammate for Mynydd Isa U-7 football team.

Unfortunately his friend, Oliver, has had a stroke so Charlie has decided to do a sponsored walk up Moel Famau to raise funds to help his friend.

Our Head Boys and Girls decided that school should have, in exchange for a donation, an own clothes day on Friday 17th January, and all donations raised will go towards sponsoring Charlie on his walk up Moel Famau.

Kids Club is hoping to open over February half-term.

If anyone is interested in their child(ren) attending, could they please register their interest by Friday 24th January. Diolch.
