Our services and resources are available to ALL CMU students, whether enrolled on-campus, online, or located throughout the world.

As a CMU student, you can access CMU Libraries’ scholarly materials, which include the world-class collection of rare books, special collections, and archives at the Clarke Historical Library to help complete writing assignments, presentations, projects, and research.

Our collections are:

  • Structured to support all areas of study at CMU.
  • Accessible 24/7, from anywhere at library.cmich.edu
  • Available in a range of physical and digital formats that include books, ebooks, journals, articles, databases, scores, newspapers and streaming media.

Librarians are here to help you locate materials and navigate resources specific to your courses.

You can chat, email, or schedule a one-on-one, in-person, or online research consultation.

Our Documents on Demand service can get an item from other libraries and deliver digital articles or book chapters to your email.

The Park Library Building offers:

  • Computers with course-related software
  • A 24/7 study space (with CentralCard access)
  • Access to printers, copiers, and scanners
  • Quiet individual and group study spaces
