A note from Mr Higginbottom

Hello! What a gorgeous afternoon we've just had with the first ever PTFA colour run! Such fantastic generosity shown by our school community and brilliant enthusiasm from our children to create a wonderful event. The PTFA will let you know soon how much they've raised, but thank you on behalf of our school to them for arranging and you all for being so supportive. Your kindness really will make a difference to our children's time in school.

Last week's music and drama performances were a stunning example of children coming together as a fantastic team. The children performed so well and gave their best at each event. Thank you for supporting this lovely occasion, too! Thank you to Mrs Parr and her great team of volunteers who keep this wonderful tradition alive at Swinton Queen.

There's still plenty to look forward to as we approach the end of term. We will see you at Sports Days next week.
