Concept OvervieW
Diamonds signify many things in life and are formed under intense pressure. We will explore this concept with several opportunities to display the transformation both musically and visually. There is also a human element to this theme in that the pressures of life make us who we are. This will create an instant connection to the audience and buy in from the staff and performers as well.

Visual Aesthetics
With the idea of carbon to diamond we have plenty of color options to choose from. I think the grey for the band uniforms with a changeable sleeve would be fantastic. I think the guard will end up being the diamonds and can be in beautiful sequin diamond dresses
Some geo dome type of prop would look incredible on the field and we could have a black to diamond tarp effect at some point in the show. These are from Lakota East.
Musical Selections
This is a preliminary list of pieces that are intended to get conversations going. I think there is something for everyone on this list. Students, audiences, staff, and judges all have something to connect with and get excited about performing!
