PLU women's lacrosse vs. Pacific

2026 Pacific Lutheran University Digital Game Program

Setting the Scene: The Pacific Lutheran University women's lacrosse team continues its final homestand of the season tonight, welcoming Northwest Conference rival Pacific University to East Field.

Series History: This is the third all-time meeting between the Lutes and the Boxers and the second showdown this season. Pacific swept the series in PLU's first season last spring, prevailing 13-7 in a non-league affair at East Field before sneaking away with a 9-6 win in mid April in NWC play. Earlier this year the two teams met in Forest Grove with the host Boxers winning 17-0.

About the Lutes: The Lutes (3-9, 1-3 NWC) split a pair of league games last week in Tacoma. Pacific Lutheran began the week last Wednesday, scoring its first NWC win and first road win in program history, taking down University of Puget Sound 11-7 at Baker Stadium.

PLU seized control in the second half, outscoring the host Loggers 7-1. Six different Lutes scored goals with Paige Hackman scoring three and Issabella Marchio, Peyton Terhar, and Taylee Alldredge all netting a pair of goals.

Kassie Diller turned away six shots in the win and on Saturday made a season-high 15 saves in a 22-3 setback to Lewis & Clark College, eclipsing the 100 save threshold for the second consecutive year.

The River Otters seized control early in the game, scoring the first seven goals and eight of the nine tallied in the opening quarter. PLU's three goals came from three different players, getting points from Marchio, Terhar, and Katrina Moran.

Taylee Alldredge continues to lead the offense with 14 goals and 16 total points despite missing two games. Issabella Marchio has 12 goals and three assists with Paige Hackman leading the team in ground balls (45), caused turnovers (21) and assists (five) while sitting third in goals with five.

Gracie Cecka has 43 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers along with 32 draw controls.

Kassie Diller has played every minute of every game since the Lutes became a varsity program last spring. The junior has 105 saves this season and a 14.98 goals against average.

About the Boxers: Pacific (6-6, 0-4 NWC) looks to snap a three-game slide and notch its first win of the conference slate. The Boxers traveled to North Carolina in late March, earning a 15-1 win over Greensboro College and a 15-4 triumph over Warren Wilson College.

Its been tough sledding since returning to the Pacific Northwest, dropping home games at the hands of NWC rivals Whitworth University (21-4), Whitman College (17-3), and George Fox University (20-2).

Ellena Willingham headlines the Boxer scoring attack with 31 goals and five assists in 12 games. That includes, scoring two of the squad's six game-winning goals.

Jasmyn Zimmerman is second on the team in points with 23, getting 16 goals and seven assists while India Cartwright is tied for 23 points with 12 goals and 11 assists. Erin Casey (18 goals), Sarah Quade (17 goals), and Cameron Cabuco (11 goals) all have over 10 goals in 2026.

Jocelyn Taylor is Pacific's top goalie, making 62 saves with a 10.29 goals against average across 11 games.

Luteville, USA: The Lutes 2026 roster features 16 student-athletes that hail from six different states. That includes 10 players from Washington and two from Oregon. PLU also has players from California, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
