It's the season the of Lent. For 40 days (plus Sundays), we make our way to the cross of Good Friday and empty grave of Easter. We have reached Holy Week, the final days of Lent before Easter. Today, we hear the Palm Sunday story. People shouted, "Hosanna, hosanna!" Jesus said if they hadn't been shouting for Him, even the rocks would have cried out His name.

Wave a palm branch while you sing!

Today's story is found in Luke 19:28-40.

Talk

When have you been to a parade; what was it like? Hosanna means "Save us." How did Jesus save us? Imagine rocks singing praise to God. What do you think that would be like?

Engage

Have a parade around your house. Wave palm branches (make one out of paper if you don't live near palm trees.) and praise god's name.

Pray

Pray: Dear Jesus, Hosanna! You are our Savior and King! We praise your name. Amen.
