Seventh grade students celebrated Hobbit Day on Friday! They have been reading "The Hobbit" in their ELA classes!

Seventh grade students from each homeroom competed against each other during assembly to test their Hobbit knowledge!

Friday, October 4th and Friday, October 11th - 11:25am dismissal (no aftercare and no bus service)

Monday, October 14th - NO SCHOOL, Fall Holiday

We are so excited to see the progress on our new pavilion! We are looking forward to gathering for our morning assembly, recess and many other events before too much longer!
Mr. Kraus stopped to visit with Mrs. Guinot's Key Cottage class on their way to have their pictures taken!
Mrs. Larranaga's 4th grade science classes are learning about structural adaptations. They performed a lab that had them camouflage butterflies around the building!
Mrs. Larranaga's 5th grade classes completed a lab that tested if temperature affected the solubility of sugar in water.

Mrs. Flores's 3rd grade class learned about the life cycle of a plant. They watched their learning come to life as they planted and grew lima beans!
Today's first Little Lambs assembly was great! Our Kindergarten students led the rosary, we sang Happy Birthday to Fr. Bru and we had our first R.O.C.K. Raffle!

What is a R.O.C.K. Raffle?

R.O.C.K. raffles are held once each month. Students can earn R.O.C.K. rewards each day by following the R.O.C.K. acronym - REVERENCE to God, OBEDIENCE to Authority, CHARITY to Others, and KNOWLEDGE of Safety. They can redeem the rewards with their teachers for special classroom treats. At the end of each month, teachers turn in all of the R.O.C.K. rewards that have been redeemed for the raffle. At the raffle, one winner is chosen from each grade level!

Ms. Aucoin's Key Cottage class is having fun at centers!
Congratulations to St. Peter Band members who attended the St. Paul's Marching Wolves Band Camp! They did a great job performing at the St. Paul's game on Friday night!

Mrs. Pescay's 6th grade classes have been studying cells and as a part of the unit, the students brought in materials to create a 3D plant or animal cell in class to show what they have learned.
Congratulations to our 5th and 6th grade Volleyball teams on their recent games!

Mrs. Landry's Kindergarten class went on a nature walk to celebrate the beginning of fall!
Congratulations to all of our students who participated in the St. Paul's Wolf Cup Academic Games. They represented St. Peter Catholic School well!

Congratulations to 2024-25 Miss St. Tammany Parish Fair Queen, Emery Tantillo! Emery will reign over the parish fair as she rides in the parade, assists with Cheer/Dance Competition, greets children of all ages and so much more! Emery will receive exclusive opportunities to serve in both her parish and across the state of Louisiana.
Thank you to all of our wonderful room parent volunteers! Our teachers are looking forward to a great year!
