With her debut single "Let You In" being welcomed by radios such as BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio USA & UK, she takes her journey through life from moving out the country at a young age, love and the pressure of growing up and delivers it to the audience with raw and intimate lyrics and distinctive sensuality. Her next musical endeavour will include the release of her next highly anticipated single "Can't Talk" released through Launchpad+

"Can't talk" is an energetic, fierce anthem on masking your insecurities and the consequences of it. The fiery guitar tones are just as proudly loud as the beating drums, everything in this song is meant to stir your internal goddess to fiercely come out. The track is inspired by the need for RUNA to communicate with as much vulnerability as possible without holding back. From the artist:  "I think I struggled with the shame that comes with being an artist, a queer overweight immigrant flamboyant woman. For so long I have hidden parts of me to attribute myself value in the eyes of others, and with "Can't talk" i kind of mock the whole idea behind it; how masking the most authentic parts of myself due to the fear of not being liked or appreciated enough led me to eventually self-destruct. The expectations that come with femininity, and artistry and how much they have at times pushed me over an edge I don't deserve to be thrown in. This song is the internal goddess telling us that in the very end we hold the power."

RUNA and her band have already established a name for themselves in the Leeds music scene collaborating with promoters such as SuperFriendz and OddBod Events, the band has performed in established venues around the city, including Hyde Park Book Club and Headrow House. While establishing a name in the Leeds music scene, RUNA has received praise form international Spotify Playlists such as "Rock Italia" and international bands such as Austrian duo FREEKIND whom RUNA had the pleasure of opening for on their Leeds stop of their European tour.
