Dean's Message
Dear Friends, Earlier this month, we hosted our annual Interview Week for the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program. Hundreds of students from around the world came to Starkville to interview for one of our 119 spots. We are one of the few veterinary schools that still require in-person interviews, and making this week possible is a significant undertaking. I want to thank Dr. Brittany Moore‑Henderson and the entire staff of the Office of Admissions and Student Success for their exceptional work in ensuring that Interview Week ran smoothly. I also extend my appreciation to the students who helped with the event, and all the faculty, alumni, and practitioners who conducted interviews. The applicants who participated will be notified of their admission status just a few days after this newsletter is published. Please join me in wishing all candidates the very best. This week, the College of Veterinary Medicine is hosting the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association’s Winter Conference. We have veterinary professionals and exhibitors coming to campus from Feb. 26–28, and we are excited to welcome you to the College of Veterinary Medicine. I hope to have the opportunity to speak with some of you while you are here. We hope to see many of you at the Alumni Mix and Mingle at Georgia Blue on Friday. All the best, Nicholas Frank, Dean
