A Special visitor for our Transition children

This week, our very lucky children in Transition were treated to a visit by a very special guest, none other than Father Christmas himself! They enjoyed a story with him, followed by a musical session with one of his elves. The morning was finished off with a session making magical food for all the reindeer! The children all had such a fun time and thoroughly enjoyed seeing their classrooms for next year.

A Very Noisy Nativity

Our Nursery and Pre-Prep children performed two show stopping performances of their Nativity, much to the delight of all the parents. A huge congratulations to all the children (and staff!) for all their hard work and fantastic performance.

Fundraising for the Parents' Association

Thank you to everyone who came along to support our spectacular Bonfire and Fireworks night in November. We are pleased to announce that we raised an incredible £4k profit for the Parents' Association. A huge thank you to Ginny Mussell and Kate Hinksman for organising the event and to all the wonderful volunteers from the Parents Association, Parents and staff, who without your help this event would not be possible. The Fireworks were absolutely sensational, and everyone had so much fun!

A Christmas wreath making workshop took place this week and was hosted by Jo Kinch at her home. £10 from everyone who attended was kindly donated to the Parents' Association, raising a fantastic £160. A very big thank you to Jo for hosting the event and providing fabulous festive hospitality!

Why do Children use Anonymous Apps?

Note: the article refers to Omegle which no longer exists but it explores the wider use of anonymous apps. Also, the article refers to teens. In my experience many younger children use anonymous apps.

This is an interesting article from Internet Matters where young people talk about why they use anonymous apps, which ones they use, the risks and how they stay safe. You can find the full article below.
