At school we talked about human rights with the teachers Peri, Pasquali and Adamo. The rights are needs that everyone must have, and no one can give or take away them. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a document where all human rights are written. Almost every country has in its own Constitution the respect of human rights. The Declaration of Human Rights was created by ONU, in English “United Nation” (UN). ONU was founded in San Francisco in 1945, after two world wars, and it was created because all the people understood that it was better to choose peace than war. Today the aims of ONU are several, such as putting an end to poverty and hunger, ensuring gender equality, education and health, developing initiatives against climate change. One of them is the COP30, an event where all the countries get together to discuss climate change goals. The COP30 this year was held in Belem, in Amazonia, from 10 to 21 of November. Unfortunately, not all objectives have been reached. ONU is a fundamental organization to keep peace in the world and that's right that the school talks about it.
