Information Technology Certification Pathways Program

The University of Louisville Digital Transformation Center presents the Information Technology Certification Pathways (ITCP). Designed to empower and prepare students for success in the dynamic field of IT and Cybersecurity, this program offers comprehensive workshops focused on industry-leading certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA IT Fundamentals+, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA A+.

Course description

CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+)

• Level: Beginner
• Criteria: No specific requirements needed; suitable for beginners.
• Duration: 6 weeks
• Cost: $999
• Available at a promotional rate of $799 until December 2024*

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

• Level: Entry to Intermediate
• Criteria: While no specific prerequisites are required, some experience in implementing and administering Cisco solutions is suggested.
• Duration: 6 weeks
• Cost: $2,399
• Available at a promotional rate of $1,899 until December 2024*

CompTIA Security+

• Level: Intermediate to Advanced
• Criteria: While no specific criteria are mandated, participants with some experience in IT administration are recommended to maximize the learning experience.
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Cost: $2,499
• Available at a promotional rate of $1,999 until December 1, 2024*

CompTIA A+

• Level: Entry to Intermediate
• Criteria: While no specific prerequisites are required, some experience in Understanding of basic computer hardware, networking, mobile devices, operating systems, and troubleshooting, is suggested.
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Cost: $1,999
• Available at a promotional rate of $1,599 until December 2024*

Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility

• Refunds will only be considered for participants who have never accessed the program content in the online learning platform.
• Refund requests must be submitted within 5 business days from the start date of the course.

Refund Amount

The refund amount is contingent on the timing of the refund request.

• Before Program Start: Refund requests made until 11:59 pm of the day before the official start date will be eligible for a full refund.
• After Program Start: Refunds requested up to 5 days from the program start date will be subject to an administration fee of $200 (a fixed amount for each program), which will be withheld from the total refund amount.

Request Procedure

• Refund requests must be submitted using the Withdrawal Request Form
• Refund requests will not be accepted via email or any other method.
• To complete your refund request, you must provide a receipt/proof of payment.

Refund Process

• Refunds requested before the official start date of the program will preferably be processed through Eventbrite, using the method of payment originally chosen by the participant.
• Refunds Requested On or After Program Start: Refunds requested on the day of the program start or thereafter will be processed through the University of Louisville and will be disbursed via a check payment.

Please note that these are general guidelines, and in certain circumstances, we may need to adjust the refund processing method. In such cases, we will maintain open communication with the participant to ensure a transparent and smooth resolution.

Refund Time

• On average, refunds are processed within 4 weeks from the date of the approved refund request.
• Please be aware that unforeseen circumstances may cause delays in the processing time.

Non-Transferable

• Refunds are non-transferable and can only be processed for the original participant who registered for the program

Incomplete or Late Requests

• Refund requests submitted after the 5-day period from the start date of the course will not be considered.

Refund Approval

• Refunds will be approved or denied at the discretion of the program administrators. Decisions made by the administrators are final.

Changes to the Refund Policy

• The Information Technology Certification Pathways program reserves the right to modify or amend these refund policies at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon informing participants via email
