NCAA Women's Golf Championship Charlottesville Regional Birdwood golf course | May 5-7

Championship Format

The Charlottesville Regional will serve as one of six 54-hole regional competitions that will be conducted to determine the participants in the 2025 NCAA Women's Golf Championship Finals. Each regional site is made up of 12 teams and six individuals not on those teams.

The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the finals. Tiebreakers and playoffs will be used to determine advancement to the finals.

Tournament Schedule

Monday, May 5 - First Round

  • First tee time: 8 a.m.
  • Double tee start from 1st and 10th tees

Tuesday, May 6 - Second Round

  • First tee time: 8 a.m.
  • Double tee start from 1st and 10th tees

Wednesday, May 7 - Third Round

  • First tee time: 8 a.m.
  • Double tee start from 1st and 10th tees

Spectator Information

  • Admission to the Charlottesville Regional is free
  • Free parking is available on a first-come first-served basis throughout the Boars Head Resort Facility
  • Food and beverage will be available at the Birdwood Grill, Boar's Head Food Truck and at the 4/7/12 intersection on the course.
  • Spectators must remain on cart paths or in the rough and approximately 15 yards from the players at all times (including all designated practice areas). There may be NO communication between players and spectators that could be deemed as advice of any nature for the duration of the 18 holes.
  • Carts will NOT be provided for spectators or available to rent.
  • All NCAA Championships are considered smoke-free and spectators are asked to refrain from smoking except in designated areas. Failure to adhere to these policies could result in removal from the course.

Violations/Penalties:

  • First - Warning
  • Second - Spectator will be removed from the course for the remainder of the day.
  • Third - Spectator will be removed from the course for the remainder of the competition.
