What should I wear? Ultimately, it's up to you. You should wear clothes that you're comfortable in and feel like 'you'. However, I do recommend avoiding busy patterns as it can be distracting to the eye. If you would like to be photographed in more than one outfit, I suggest layering your clothing i.e. a shirt + jacket. This will help us save time. If you're not sure of what to wear, bring multiple options and we can take some time prior to the shoot to select your outfit together. Should I hire a professional hair and make up artist? Again, this is totally up to you. It isn't necessary, however, the person I recommend works with photographers a lot so really knows what looks good on camera. She has the ability to make you look like you're not wearing makeup, but happen to have effortlessly flawless skin and chiselled features ;). Does she do hair and makeup for men too? Yes, definitely! Are your photos retouched? Yes, all my photos are gently retouched in my signature style. My aim is to make you look like you on your best day. I do not do extensive retouching, such as reshaping someone's body. Help - I'm not photogenic! Don't worry! Most people I photograph are not models and often come into the session feeling like they're not photogenic. It is my job to make you feel comfortable and to guide you. We can check on the photos regularly to make sure you're happy with the way the session is unfolding. I want to book. What's next? Awesome! In order to book I require a date retainer fee of $75. Pricing
Express Headshot Package $225
This package includes; a 20 minute photo shoot with one background (black or white), one retouched portrait selected by you with a perpetual license.
Standard Headshot Session $350
This package includes; a 1 hour session, with up to two backgrounds (black or white), the option to be photographed in two outfits of your choice (wardrobe not provided), two retouched portrait photos selected by you with a perpetual license.
Actor Headshot Session $395
This package includes; a 90 minute session, with up to three backgrounds, the option to be photographed in three outfits of your choice (wardrobe not provided) and five retouched portrait photos selected by you with a perpetual license.
Extras:
Additional retouched photos are $30 each.
