- Designed to be commercially safe | Trained on Adobe Stock's 300 million+ high-res, high-value assets, as well as openly-licensed and public domain content.
- Integrated Workflows | Firefly generative AI capabilities are and will continue to be embedded into other Adobe tools. This integration provides the creative freedom to customize/personalize GenAI assets.
- Enterprise-friendly | Adobe is exploring ways to enable customers to train Firefly with their own creative collateral, generating content in their brand style and design language.

What does that mean?
Firefly is developed and deployed around Adobe's AI ethics principles of accountability, responsibility, and transparency. This includes:
Data collection: Adobe trains the Firefly model collecting diverse image datasets, which have been curated and preprocessed to mitigate against harmful or biased content.
Addressing bias and testing for safety and harm: It’s important to Adobe to create a model that respects customers and aligns with Adobe’s ethics principles of accountability, responsibility, and transparency.
Regular updates and improvements: This is an ongoing process. We will regularly update Firefly to improve its performance and mitigate harmful bias in its output.
Firefly is trained to be commercially safe: Firefly is trained on Adobe Stock’s 300 million+ high-res, high-value assets, as well as openly-licensed and public domain content.

- Automatically attaching Content Credentials to content created with Firefly to indicate that generative AI was used

The Content Authenticity Initiative is a group working together to fight mis/disinformation and add a layer of verifiable trust to all types of digital content, starting with photo and video, through provenance and attribution solutions.
Provenance | The basic trustworthy facts about the origins of a piece of digital content (image, video, audio recording, document)—Proving what is real instead of what is false.
