Creating your Meme
The easiest way to create a meme is using the app MemeGenerator, you can find this using the link below:
The guidance below will take you through how to create and share your meme or allow others to share their memes.
Once into MemeGenerator, you will need to choose your base image, to do this you can scroll through the options (as highlighted in green below).
Next add your text by typing into the text box options (as highlighted in green below).
When you are happy with your text, press the "Generate Meme" button (highlighted in green below).
This will open your meme in a new window, copy the "Image Link" (highlighted in green below). This will then mean your meme is ready to share via a Padlet.
Sharing your Meme
Memes can be shared in various manners, this takes you through how to add a Meme to a Padlet. You can sign up to use Padlet via the link below (there is a number of free Padlets that you can use):
Once you have created a Padlet, you can then share this Padlet as a link or QR code to allow others to add their Memes onto the page.
To share a meme, click on the + sign on the Padlet, this will generally be at the bottom of the Padlet as seen below (this does sometimes appear in different places depending what device you are using).
Then add the link to your Meme by via the link button (as circled in the below image)
Once the link has been added, you can now press Publish and your Meme will be added to the Padlet.
This method allows multiple people to add memes onto a shared board all at the same time.
