BAREWOOD FRAGRANCES

What is Barewood?

Nothing special about our brand name; it just came from the word "barefoot" since our perfume bottle has a wooden cap and our packaging is simple and bare.

What’s special about this brand is our story.

Here’s our story!

3 years ago, after the pandemic, I went to a concert, and I used a perfume from a niche fragrance brand. I only bought a 5ml decant because the price of their full bottle was too much, especially for a cancer patient like me; it’s not practical to spend that much for a scent. Every time I smell that scent, it brings me back to that certain moment. I was so happy that day because the artists I watched had been my source of happiness and inspiration during the pandemic while dealing with cancer. That’s how magical scents are! This is why I decided to start my own fragrance brand; I want other people to access niche and luxury perfumes without spending too much. I can’t wait to see our version of scents become part of your special moments in your life.

Locally made!

This is a small brand, and to cut costs, I'm the one who’s transferring the scents to the bottles, putting on stickers, packaging the perfumes, answering inquiries, posting on our social media, and packing orders while my FDA-licensed manufacturer is in charge of curing the perfumes. Made in the Philippines with 30% fragrance oils imported from France, Germany, and Spain.

Phthalate-free!

We don’t use fixatives; that’s why our perfumes are hypoallergenic. We prefer curing for a long period of time, giving the scents more time to age for a long-lasting wear.

Our own version of signature scents from different niche and luxury brands.

Notes

Do not rub the perfume after applying it because it can disrupt the scent molecules, causing the fragrance to fade faster, and it can also alter the fragrance by mixing it too much with your skin’s oils.

Although we can spray perfume on our clothes, the best practice is to spray it on pulse points like wrists, neck, and behind the ears for longevity and wide projection then let it dry naturally.

Allow a day or so for your perfume to rest due to temperature fluctuations during the shipment.

Refrain from shaking the perfume bottle excessively to prevent potential oxidation and chemical instability.

Keep in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight.
