Girls' Track travels to Adidas Nationals Audrey Curtis '25

The Adidas National competition took place in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Four athletes took a plane, and two drove. On March 16, the morning of the competition, athletes had time to explore the area and walk along the ocean beach, among other activities before their races later that day.

All Staples athletes competed for Fleet Feet running, with their uniforms sponsored by the store's Westport location. As seen in the first image above, Leigh Foran '24 strode to the finish line during her 800m run. Each 800m runner was a part of the Emerging Elite category. Emma Morris '24 competed as well in this category. Avery Kalter '27 ran in the 1600m freshmen race, finishing with a 5:36. Another freshman, Ellie Ferraro, raced in both the 60m and the 200m run.

On Sunday, March 17, the 4 by 800m relay competed. From left to right, Sarah Bogdan '26, Leigh Foran '24, Emma Morris '24 and Avery Kalter '27 were on the relay. They finished with a time of 10:17. Though their season record was 10:06, they finished in the top eight overall.
