Celebration Friday
Stars of the Week
Welsh Speaker of the Week
Proud
There was a so much to celebrate in worship today... from graduating from brown stripe to green stripe in Tae Kwan Do, 1st place in a dog show with Etty and winning dance awards. We are so proud of all our Minera children!
Remembrance
This week, children have been reflecting on the importance of Remembrance in class. Pupils attended the Minera Community Remembrance Service and also took part in the Coedpoeth Remembrance Service and Parade. On 11th November, the whole school respectfully observed two minutes’ silence at 11am. Thank you also for supporting the sale of poppies in school.
Visit to Xplore
Dosbarth Explorers and Dosbarth Navigators had a fantastic time at Xplore! today. The children enjoyed activities provided by Ipsen Biopharm, a workshop from Xplore! and having time to explore the centre. Their behaviour, attitude and enthusiasm was a credit to our school. Da iawn pawb!
Children in Need
We had a fantastic day celebrating Children in Need! Pupils enjoyed making Pudsey biscuits, taking part in Pudsey-themed activities in class, and coming to school in non-uniform. So far, we have raised an amazing £149, and we are so grateful for your generous donations. If you would still like to contribute, you can donate online by visiting: https://www.justgiving.com/page/minera-aided-primary-school-11?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL Thank you for helping us support this wonderful cause!
