Concept Overview
We will utilize the life cycle of a volcano to create a dramatic show with variety. We will explore the beauty of a volcano before it erupts, the overwhelming chaos of the eruption, the destruction left in the aftermath, and the calm that follows.
Visual Aesthetics
We will utilize the palette below which includes the maroon found on the school uniform. This will immediately help with the tie in of the concept. I hope to find some ramp style prop or ones similar to below to use as a soloist stage and to create an engaging set design.
I envision the guard being in beautiful flame costumes that look like flowing lava to tie into the lava silk effect that I hope to incorporate in the show.
