From North Topsail Elementary - Thank you dolphin families for supporting the Boosterthon Fundraiser and we hope everyone had a great time at the glow run today!! We are excited to share that we reached our monetary goal of $30,000!!! Monday will bring Admin scooter races and turning the Admin into ice cream sundaes!!

From Heide Trask High - Congratulations to our varsity cheerleaders who placed 2nd at the Coastal Regional Competition! We are so proud of you!

From Malpass Corner Elementary - Congratulations to our Eagles of the Week for having "Ownership" of their behavior while in the bathroom. Our Eagles SOAR all day, every day!!

From Cape Fear Elementary - Camp invention, catching air event! Miss Smith's class designed skateboards, riders, and skate parks to investigate force and motion.

South Topsail Elementary - STE 2nd graders made their own butter and enjoyed a feast for lunch Friday.

From Surf City Elementary - Ms. Natalie Tidler, an elementary education major at UNCW, is completing her Fall internship at Surf City Elementary. She has been observing, assisting, and participating in Dr. Martin and Ms. Full’s classrooms this semester. This past week, she taught her first lesson in Dr. Martin’s classroom on how to protect endangered species! She has done an amazing job and we cannot wait to see all the great things she will do for children.

From Topsail High - Congratulations to the Topsail High Coast Guard JROTC Raider team for their performance at the Raider Challenge competition hosted by Pender High School Army JROTC on Saturday November 18th. Topsail Coast Guard JROTC Raiders competed in their first-ever Raider competition against 7 Army JROTC teams from across the region. The team won first place overall for the competition. In individual events, the team placed first in the Knot Tying Relay, and the Team Physical Fitness Challenge, and they placed third in the team 5k run, the Logistics Race, and the Rope Bridge event. Congratulations and Bravo Zulu to Team Captain Cadet Emma Danford, and Cadets Dylan Bennett, McKenzie Dendy, Chloe Dzyerzynski, Chrisalee Garofolo, and Kolby Livings. Great job Raiders! -- THS CGJROTC would like to thank PHS Army JROTC' Raider Team for their mentorship and outstanding support in helping to establish a CGJROTC Raider Team... Thank you shipmates!

From Surf City Middle - Congratulations to our Hand Turkey Art winners! 3rd-Makayla Parmentier, 2nd-Landon Hairr, and 1st-Brooke McClellan. Thanks to WalMart for sponsoring this contest and providing gift cards as prizes! Great job, Sharks!

From Pender High - Many thanks to those of you who came out to our NTHS inductions this afternoon! Over 40 students were inducted today into our National Technical Honor Society. A special thank you to Mr. Bates and our senior NTHS members for making this ceremony a great one! #PatriotPride

From Topsail Annandale Elementary - Friday was a fun day to be at TAES! As a reward for reaching our fundraising goal, Mrs Wilson agreed to kiss a pig 🐷. But we exceeded our goal, so lots of other teachers and staff agreed to join in the fun! We’d like to thank Flew the Coop Farm for brining Missy the 🐖 to our campus! And a special thanks to Julie O'Neill Photography for catching some fun images of the day!

From Penderlea School - The 8th Graders attended a career fair on Friday.

From West Pender Middle - WPMS has a lot of be thankful for!

From Topsail Middle - The Seventh Grade went on a field trip to beautiful Camp Kirkwood! Students participated in team building activities that challenged them to think outside the box. Connecting to Science, students explored the woods for invertebrates and learned how to read a map and use a compass to navigate in case of a zombie apocalypse.

Families are invited to participate in various activities related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. Elective classes will also be showcased. Pender County Schools is teaming up with Cape Fear Navigating Change to help spread the word about their survey. This survey is all about Cape Fear Navigating Change 2050, which is a big plan for how residents handle transportation in our region over the next 25 years. The plan looks at things like airplanes, bikes and walking paths, ferries, trains, buses, and roads to make sure they meet our community's needs. Take the survey HERE
