Colorado photographers capture 'blood moon' eclipse in stunning photos MARCH 14, 2025

A "blood moon" total lunar eclipse graced the skies over the Americas Thursday night into Friday. Much of Colorado saw cloudy skies overnight, but the clouds cleared enough for some of the shutterbugs in Denver7's photography group on Facebook to capture their requisite jaw-dropping pics. It was the first total lunar eclipse since 2022. Unfortunately, some photographers said the skies were too cloudy to get good shots of this year's event... so many shared throwback snaps from the 2022 lunar eclipse!
