Miss Spelman Pageant Reveal

BEST RULE OF THIRDS - I was able to successfully align Abrianna onto the right third line with keeping the microphone for good balance opposite of her for good balance.
WORST RULE OF THIRDS - So Kinsley is on the left third line in the photo, but there is so much going on that it distracts from the composition. The flying confetti, a half cropped Sarah on the right border, and other objects in focus impede the image.
BEST FRAMING - Jada is on the back line of the formation here and I was able to focus in on her through multiple individuals.
WORST FRAMING - I attempted to lock in on one of the event curators at the DJ Booth through all of the chaos in front and it just didn't end up working out.
BEST PERSPECTIVE - I had to go to the ground for Jada's intro, and I lucked up by getting this great shot of her posing as the confetti from her supporters shot out.
WORST PERSPECTIVE - This was right before the one above, and I thought a shot of a sign close to the ground would look cool. It's just stale and stagnant.
BEST SYMMETRY - I guess this is unorthodox symmetry, but the two sides of the photo really do mirror each other.
BEST REPETITION OF SHAPE - Maybe it is just me, but I happen to like this picture of three Miss Spelman Advisory Board members in similar outfits and the same pose.
WORST REPETITION OF SHAPE - I thought that they were more spaced out when I took the photo, but they intent was to have four girls in yellow all cheering on their friend.
BEST LEADING LINES - I really liked the way I was able to capture all of the contestants in the final move of their sequence as they were preparing to leave the amphitheater.
WORST LEADING LINES - This was a good idea—to capture the Deltas as they were strolling through the amphitheater—the photo was just blurry, out of focus, and poorly colored.
BEST SIMPLE BACKGROUND - For some reason, I really just like this photo of the back of a sign for Kinsley that highlights her line number being connected to this the 43rd election of a Miss Spelman.
WORST SIMPLE BACKGROUND - I tried to get these three number seven balloons with the trees in the background, but it didn't end up being a great shot.
