Christmas Performances

A huge well done to our Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 children who performed brilliantly at the Neeld Hall yesterday afternoon and evening. It was amazing to see the children perform so confidently on stage and we hope you enjoyed the show!

A Christmas Carol

On Monday, Year 5 were kindly invited along to Sheldon School to see a performance of A Christmas Carol. Not only did Year 5 seem to enjoy the long walk there and back they thoroughly enjoyed the production and even got to meet the cast after the show, over some refreshments. Mr Prosser, Mrs Davies, Mrs Watts and Mrs Pick were all very proud of Year 5 because they represented the school very well. A big thank you to Sheldon school for their excellent performance!

Police visit

'As part of our topic this term, Pine Martens and Badgers had a visit from the Police this week to learn more about crime and punishment in the modern era. The children had a chance to ask their own questions, look at equipment and try on Police hats. We all found the answers very interesting and learnt a lot about life as a Police officer.' Leonardo

CHRISTMAS FAIR

It's Christmas Fair day! We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the fair tonight. Please enter the fair via the KS2 playground doors. Doors open at 5.30pm. Please bring your small change for your child to spend at the fair: they love spending it, and it avoids the card transaction fees too. And if you can spare an hour during the fair to run a stall or activity, please offer to help. It's never too late to get involved!

Our deepest gratitude goes out to our dedicated crew of elves who have helped with the preparation for the fair. It takes a lot of effort to put the fair together and you've all been amazing.

And finally, a big thank you to the Tenth Hole Tea Room for sponsoring the crackers for the children's Christmas Lunch today.

Merry Christmas everyone!
