Pre-Appointment Care and information

PRE APPOINTMENT CARE

MICROBLADING:

In order for your new brows to heal properly (and look their best) these Pre Care Instructions found below are of the UTMOST IMPORTANCE!

Pre-Care instructions are designed to limit bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessing bleeding during the procedure can dilute the pigment color and lead to poor results.

  • Do not work out for 24 hours prior to your procedure.
  • Alcohol/caffeine avoid for 48 hours before procedure.
  • Sun and tanning avoid for 1 week prior to procedure.
  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen, Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc), “Hair, Skin, Nail” supplements 48 hours prior to procedure.
  • Retin-A discontinue at least 4 weeks prior go appointment.
  • Refrain from use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area 2 weeks prior to service.
  • Botox and filler on the forehead, temple, and eye area should be avoided 1 month prior to procedure.
  • Brow waxing, tinting, or threading should be avoided 1 week prior (the more natural hair growth you have, the better!)
  • Avoid Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion or facials for 4 weeks prior procedure.
PERMANENT MAKEUP IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANY CLIENTS WHO ARE OR HAVE:
  • Pregnant or Nursing

TATTOOS:

  • Stay hydrated: Drink lots of water or fluids 24 hours before your appointment so your skin is hydrated and absorbs ink better.
  • EAT FOOD!!!!!! This will reduce the chances of lightheadedness or passing out during your tattoo - even if you think it wont happen to you, it could if your body isn't prepared.
  • Moisturize: Regularly moisturize your skin to keep it hydrated. Dry skin is more likely to crack and bleed during your tattoo.
  • Avoid blood thinners: Don't consume drugs or alcohol, aspirin, or other blood thinners 24 hours before your appointment. These can increase bleeding, interfere with healing, and potentially affect the outcome of your tattoo.
  • Avoid sunburn: Don't get sunburned or peel before your appointment, as artists won't be able to tattoo you if you do.
  • Get enough sleep: Try to get a good night's rest the night before your appointment.
  • Wear comfortable convenient clothing: Wear loose-fitting clothing to your appointment that makes sense for the area being worked on. I do not supply pasties, must bring your own!
  • Avoid strenuous exercise: Avoid activities that will make you sore, as this can make the tattooing process more painful.
See you soon!

Be sure to read the aftercare instructions so we can guarantee the best outcome for your service!
