About the UNL Jazz Orchestra

The Jazz Orchestra is the university's showcase jazz organization and one of the Glenn Korff School of Music's most visible performing groups. This versatile ensemble performs all styles of music from Duke Ellington to the contemporary artists of today. Former members of the Jazz Orchestra include Victor Lewis, Laurie Frink, and Matt Wallace. Most recently, the UNL Jazz Orchestra was featured at the Carson Tonight 99th Birthday Celebration; past performances and features have included sets at the Jazz Education Network conference and on NPR's Jazz Set.
