A Bit About Me
Hi again! I'm Ella Davis. I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where I completed a double major in Horticulture (with a concentration in Landscape Design) and Marketing Communications in three years. I was also a Division III student-athlete, which taught me how to manage time, stay focused, and thrive under pressure.
This summer, I'm working as the Darwin Perennials Product Development Intern at Ball Horticultural. My role involves evaluating field trials, collecting data on plant performance, conducting side-by-side comparisons, and contributing to the decision-making process for market-ready varieties, as well as a range of marketing tasks. This position allows me to combine my love for hands-on plant work with strategic thinking.
When I'm not working, I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast. You'll often find me skiing, hiking, or scuba diving, and I'm always looking for opportunities to improve my photography skills. I also enjoy a good book or a spontaneous adventure.
Looking ahead, I'm excited to keep growing within the horticulture industry, whether that's in product development or horticultural marketing, where I can help bring innovative plant solutions to life.
