The football team (5–2, 3–1 Ivy) defeated Columbia (1–6, 0–4 Ivy) Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs extended their win streak to three after executing a dominant rushing attack and a suffocating defensive performance.

Just minutes after a field goal pushed Yale ahead by 10, Wilhelm Daal ’26 sprinted 81 yards to the end zone. His third-quarter touchdown run marked the longest run since 2017.

After a 15-yard rush to the Columbia 1-yard line, captain Josh Pitsenberger ’26 took a knee moments before Yale ran out the clock.

Quarterback Dante Reno ’28 took three knees to drain the clock and seal the Bulldogs’ third straight win.

The Bulldogs gathered at midfield, raised their helmets, and sang the Yale fight song.
