LETOURNEAU UNIVERSITY is an ELITE, CHRISTIAN, STEM institution.
We are looking for STUDENT-ATHLETES who are DEDICATED TO RIGOROUS ACADEMICS, while having the DRIVE AND DISCIPLINE to handle the HIGH EXPECTATIONS of our program.
The foundation of our Men's Soccer program revolves around CULTIVATING DISCIPLES and PURSUING EXCELLENCE as both athletes and young men. This is shaped through our core values of PURPOSE, GRIT, and GRATITUDE.

OUR RECRUITING PROCESS
STEP 1: Initial Introduction
When you reach out to us: Tell us: Why is LeTourneau a good fit for you? LeTourneau is the wrong fit for you if...
- You don’t want a rigorous academic experience
- You aren't prepared to do hard things
- You don't want to engage in growing in your faith / character (i.e. Team bible study, chapel, Life Groups, etc.)
STEP 2: Evaluation Process (On-Field and Off-Field)
Our evaluation phase looks at both on-field and off-field qualities: technical, physical, and cognitive ability; WORK RATE; and overall fit for the team’s game model.
We also look for players who embody our core values and show true enthusiasm for the LeTourneau experience.
This is done through multiple touch points. (Emails, phone calls, watching film/highlight videos, YOU coming to watch one of our games and attending our camps, US watching you play at showcases/events).
STEP 3: Decision Process
Once evaluations are complete, a small number of official offers are made, typically for a recruiting class of 7–10 players. Recruits then enter a 2–4 week decision window leading to a verbal commitment and official deposit. This structured process ensures that every incoming player is a strong fit for the program’s competitive standards and cultural expectations.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO SEE ME PLAY? The best way for us to see you play is to come to our ID events. A second way is to attend one of the tournaments/showcases listed below.

WHAT POSITIONS ARE YOU RECRUITING? We’re always looking for top-quality players and focus on overall skill sets rather than specific positions. Our current needs for upcoming classes are:
- 2026 Class: Defenders, Midfielders, Forwards
- 2027 Class: Open to all positions
- 2028 Class: Open to all positions
