About Me

Hi, I’m Natalie Rivera, a self taught visual artist from Southwest Detroit. Art has always been my way of processing life especially after losing my mom in high school. I didn’t get to pursue formal art school right away, but I never stopped creating. What started as casually sharing my work online eventually led to my first art show, which opened doors I never expected. Since then, my art has traveled to places like Amsterdam, Paris, Belgium, New York, London, Greece, and my hometown of Detroit. I don’t stick to one medium or style, I’m always experimenting and evolving. Each piece reflects where I’ve been and where I’m headed. If someone pauses to connect with my work, even for a moment, that means everything to me.
