Dear Bluejay Family, We are so excited to welcome our Bluejays back to campus and hope your Christmas break was restful, joyful, and filled with special moments with loved ones. We are also thrilled to share that our students will be returning to dine in our cafeteria beginning this week! We are grateful that this beautiful new space is ready to open ahead of schedule. While the cafeteria is operational, there are a few final punch-list items that still need to be completed. Once those are finished, we will celebrate with an official ribbon cutting to mark this exciting milestone for our school community. As we reopen this space, we ask for your patience with requests to join your child for lunch. Those opportunities will resume after our ribbon cutting and once our students and teachers have had time to settle into their new lunch routines. This adjustment period will help ensure a smooth, safe, and positive experience for everyone. We are so thankful for your continued support and can’t wait for our Bluejays to enjoy many wonderful meals together in their new cafeteria! Grace & Peace, Erin B. Henry Principal

21 Days with Daniel- Join us for 21 Days with Daniel, as we walk alongside one of Scripture’s most courageous prophets and dive deep into the Book of Daniel. We'll fast as he fasted and learn how fidelity to God forms virtue in everyday life. This journey will challenge you to live with conviction, prayer, and trust—no matter the pressure around you. This can be found on our SCS google calendar. Pre-K and Kindergarten Teachers have reached out to their classes already. Grades 1-8 will be reaching out upon return from Christmas break.
Uniforms
It’s that time of year to check uniform fits! Please take a moment to ensure that your child’s uniform items meet our school’s dress code requirements for length and fit.
We know how quickly children grow, and we appreciate your help in keeping our students looking neat and in uniform compliance.
All students must return on January 6th with neat, clean hair that is in full compliance with the policy. Hair must be above the ears, off the collar, not below the eyebrows, and no longer than 4 inches. Extreme styles, partial shaving, and unnatural colors are strictly prohibited.
Electronics RemindeR
Many students have received electronics for Christmas. Please be reminded of the policy stated in the handbook.
- Use of cellular (cell) phones, wearable electronics (e.g. smartwatches), and tablets is not allowed on campus during school hours. Even a watch in "school mode" is a distraction in the classroom.
- Students who bring their devices to school must turn them off and place them in the designated phone box upon arriving on campus; carrying these items on their person is forbidden. All devices will be kept until the end of the school day.
