Our next opponents are yet to be confirmed, likely from further down the coast.

These get underway next Monday. All students should now be working with their teachers to ensure they are prepared.

Inclusive Education Soap Making Experience
In an exciting hands-on experience, students from the Inclusive Education program recently embarked on an engaging journey into the art of soap making as part of their Project-Based Learning (PBL) elective. The students visited Sleepy Hollow Soap Co, where they were given a guided tour that showcased the intricate processes involved in crafting high-quality soaps.
During the visit, the students learned about the various ingredients and techniques used in soap making, gaining insight into both the science and artistry behind the craft. The highlight of the day came when each student had the opportunity to create their own unique soap. With a selection of different moulds, vibrant colours, and delightful scents to choose from, the students expressed their creativity and personal style in their soap creations.
This hands-on experience not only enhanced the students' understanding of the soap-making process but also fostered teamwork and collaboration, as they shared ideas and assisted one another throughout the activity. The visit to Sleepy Hollow Soap Co was a fantastic way to blend learning with creativity, inspiring students to explore new skills in a supportive environment.
The Sleepy Hollow Soap Co is a locally owned business, situated at 7 Marshall Close, in Sleepy Hollow. They are open to the public on Sundays from 9-2pm.

Smoke Alarm Action Day
Last year, 49% of the homes damaged/destroyed by fire in NSW did not contain a working smoke alarm (either not working or not present). In 2022, the figure was 50%.
This year, on 1 June 2025 Fire and Rescue NSW are urging the community to take part in the inaugural Smoke Alarm Action Day.
Be smart and take part! Check that you have a smoke alarm and test that it works. If you do not have an alarm, or it doesn’t make a sound, Fire and Rescue NSW want to hear from you.
Contact them via their Safety Visits program, to book a FREE VISIT and the installation of a new smoke alarm. Special smoke alarms are also available for Hearing Impaired residents.
Bookings can be made through www.fire.nsw.gov.au/SafetyVisits or contact your local Fire and Rescue Station.
