Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse & Suicide, with support from Sylvia's Child Advocacy Center and Prevent Child Abuse Boone County Presents 'Child Lures Prevention'
- Think First and Stay Safe and Teen Lures are comprehensive body safety education programs that teach students in grades K-12 ways to keep their bodies safe. Students will learn appropriate ways to prevent, respond to, and report situations such as bullying, cyber-bullying, and all forms of abuse or neglect. An opportunity to speak with someone about body safety concerns will be offered to all students.
- The program will be presented to students at Zionsville West on Wednesday, January 29th. Each presentation will be given in individual PE/Health classrooms and will last approximately 30 minutes. Although not required, each student's attendance in the program is strongly recommended. For additional information regarding our programs, please visit our website at: www.indianaprevention.org

Boys' Volleyball & Girls' Lacrosse
- 7th & 8th Grade Boys - there will be a volleyball callout meeting on Tuesday, January 14th, at 8:15am in Mrs. Comer's room (#508).
- 5th-8th Grade Girls - there will be a Lacrosse informational meeting on Thursday, January 23rd, from 4-4:30pm in the LGI. (The season will begin mid-March, and run through mid-May.)
ZCHS Football Workouts
- 7th & 8th Grade Boys – ZCHS Football speed development sessions will start on Sunday, January 19, from 1:45-2:45pm.
- 8th Grade Boys – ZCHS Football winter weight training sessions will start on Monday, January 13, from 7:00-8:00pm.
- Weight Training Sessions will be Mondays and Wednesdays. These are crucial for all athletes, focusing on technique and safe movement.
- There is a fee, but assistance is available if needed.

- The current purchase price for the yearbook is $45, through the end of this month.
- As of February 1st, the price will increase to $50.

Laptop Info for the 2024-2025 School Year

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT for ZCHS 1:1 Laptop Use for the 2025-2026 School Year
- At the December 9th School Board meeting, the extension of the 1:1 computer program into ZCHS for all freshman and sophomores was approved to begin at the start of the 25-26 school year.
- For planning purposes, please note, all Freshman and Sophomores will be provided a ZCS Chromebook for use in the 1:1 program starting in August of 2025.
