Hi Everyone,

The Battle is the Lords, the Victory is Yours!

And he said, “Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God's. 2 Chron. 20:15

Our spiritual enemy is constantly waging war against us but there are times in which it becomes so overwhelming that we wonder if we can ever have victory over the enemy. The Lord will fight for us supernaturally when we seek God in prayer and fasting. 2 Chron 20:1-23

“And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. So, Judah gathered to ask help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.” v3-4

The Lord gave them a spiritual strategy of worship and prophetic declaration that defeated the enemy completely v20-23. Spiritual warfare cannot be won by organizational, administrative and practical social means; it requires supernatural powers that come from spiritual strategy.

Our God is a warrior, clothed for battle

“For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing and was clad with zeal as a cloak. According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay, Fury to His adversaries, Recompense to His enemies; the coastlands He will fully repay.” Isaiah 59:17

Our God will rise and fight for us

“…. When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19

When you feel overwhelmed and the odds are against you, do not be anxious, panic or be depressed. When you have tried everything and it is still not enough, learn to rest in God, seek Him in prayer and fasting and He will rise up and fight for you for the battle is not yours but God's BUT THE VICTORY IS YOURS!
