PRE-PREP
Year 1 Trip to Hastings Miniature Railway
Year 1 had a wonderful morning in the sunshine using their five senses whilst on the beach at Hastings. They loved the train ride and enjoyed looking at the fishing huts, amusements and seagulls. Well done to the children for being beautifully behaved - the teachers were very impressed!
Year 2 - Battle Fire Station Outing
On Monday Year 2 visited Battle Fire Station to learn about modern fire engines and the role of fire fighters, as part of our topic 'Fire Fire'. The children had a tour of the station, looked at all the equipment on the fire engines and were even allowed to sit inside the cab. We finished the morning off by having a go at using the powerful hoses; everyone loved spraying the building with water and managed to stay fairly dry!
