"I want to bring to mind what can give me hope." - Lamentations 3:21
Hello, friends on the journey! Happy New Year to us all! What a joy it is to share a bit more of what has been happening in the mission field. I hope that as you read this update, your heart is warmed and encouraged in the Lord.
Gratitude for 2025
Without a doubt, 2025 was the most intense year I have lived in missions so far. Looking at so many activities, it is moving to see how the Lord enabled us to accomplish everything in a single year. The most precious part, however, was witnessing God's presence in every detail; He is the reason for everything we do. As the apostles stated: “For in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). We held the Missionary Training Schools (Alcance 2025.1 and 2025.2), went on mission trips to Juazeiro do Norte for local church planting, and reinforced evangelism in the community. We held services that brought together women reached by our socio-evangelistic projects and local churches. We also received visits from dear friends from Mount Paran North and Gospel Forum — I am so grateful for their lives and the blessed time we spent together! We celebrated Children's Day in underprivileged communities and experienced the most special conference in our history: the 20th anniversary of Missão Vida em Foco. Two decades of focusing on and reaching lives, preaching the Gospel with love, compassion, mercy, and grace. In our daily routine—among visits and ministry to children, youth, and adults—we saw God move through Quarta Feliz (Happy Wednesday), Women's Teas, evangelistic outreaches, and food distributions. THE LORD IS GOOD! The privilege of serving Him is always greater than any price paid. We closed the year with our Christmas Outreach, witnessing once again the greatness of the Lord as He healed and set people free in the name of Jesus, the hope that sustains us. We finished 2025 in fellowship, certain that “He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.”
2026: Putting First Love First
After a short break, we have returned to our activities. To start this new year with the right focus, Missão Vida em Foco has dedicated the month of January to seeking the Lord intensively. Our mornings are consecrated to worship, intercession, and prayer. We are seeking God's heart for this year, dedicating our afternoons to planning upcoming activities. We want to understand, from the Master of the Mission, how He desires us to move. He is worthy!
My Work in the Mission
Currently, I lead the Communications Department at MVF (Headquarters) and serve on the team at the Rosalina community. My areas of operation include:
- Coordination and Strategy: Managing the communication team and developing strategic outreach for Missão Vida em Foco (projects, training, bases, and local churches).
- Evangelism and Discipleship: Working with teenagers and women in the community.
Local Support: Cooperating with the local church planting in Fortaleza and taking on daily responsibilities at the base, such as leading the Thursday collective devotional and preparing the base lunch bi-weekly on Saturdays.
Let’s Go Together?
Our desire is to continue announcing the Good News of the Kingdom until Christ returns. I want to invite you to be even closer to me on this journey! I have a WhatsApp Missionary Update Group where I share more of the daily life on the field, testimonies of transformed lives, and specific prayer requests. It would be a joy to have you there with me! You can join the WhatsApp group through this link:
Prayer Requests
This year has already begun with its personal and ministerial challenges. I ask that you join me in prayer for:
- My Health: Physical, emotional, and spiritual.
- Financial Provision: For the repair of my work equipment (phone and laptop) and for the fees for my permanent driver's license.
- Wisdom and Understanding: To lead the communications for MVF and to excellently manage my other responsibilities.
- For Mission Focus Life: For the leaders and missionaries, that God would continue to give us clarity on the next steps.
Acknowledgments
I also want to leave here my deep gratitude to my family, friends, brothers and sisters, pastors, and leaders who have been a support in my missionary walk. Your prayers, advice, and investment are essential and help me to move forward. A huge thank you to Missão Vida em Foco, which has supported my calling in every aspect. Serving the Kingdom with you is a privilege.

I give thanks to the Lord for His immense love, for calling me to His mission, and for placing me in a family. No tear, exhaustion, sadness, stress, fear, or personal insecurity can compare to the worthiness of the Lamb of God— the One for whom it is worth spending my entire existence for the praise of His glory. To Him be the honor, the glory, and the power forever, amen!
