December 14, 2024 A great trip to the north pole

On a beautiful, but cold, early winter day, the whole gang heads 1 hour west to Romney, West Virginia to board the Potomac Eagle "North Pole Express" and head to the North Pole.

We get in line and wait to board our beautiful heated train car where we are served cookies and milk on our smooth trip to the North Pole.

We are treated to a "parade of characters" with beautiful music from the "Nutcracker." Following that, we hear more Christmas Carols and are treated to a parade of popular Christmas characters including Frosty and Rudolph.

Finally we reach our destination - "The North Pole" and see Santa, Ms. Claus and some Elves. We watch as Santa comes onboard our train with gifts for everyone!
