The second half of Year 10 Textile students went to the Tate Modern on Tuesday 19th November. The students were to focus on their ‘Surfaces and Structures’ projects and find relevant and inspiring work.
The students were tasked with a scavenger hunt to find artworks that suit certain criteria. The photographs taken will be used in their sketchbook to demonstrate a varied amount of secondary sources.
Using a couple of pieces for inspiration, the students will now create a personal response to an artist of their choice.
