Multi Skills Trip

Owls really enjoyed their trip to Sheldon School Dome, where they took part in a multi-skills event. They had great fun and got involved in all of the activities. This included dancing, shooting into a hoop, balance skills and different races. It was lovely to see the class mixing with the other schools and making new friends. Much thanks to Mrs Porter and Chippenham Partnership for inviting us and organising such a good event.

Braeside Parents Meeting - Year 4 Residential

The Year 4 residential meeting for parents will be held on Tuesday 30th January at 5.30pm (via Teams). Children are welcome to be online too and a letter will be sent next week with a link to join.

River Walk

Badgers and Pine Martens had a wonderful time on their river walk on Friday to conclude their Geography unit on rivers. They spent time investigating the different signs of river pollution in our local area. Today they worked hard to write letters to the local council and MP to help tackle the problem! Mrs Schonfeld and Miss Murphy would like to congratulate the children on their exceptional behaviour and their courtesy to other members of the public. They were a real pleasure to take out and about.

'Badgers and Pine Martens set off for our river walk and walked to our first stop: The Blue Bridge. We looked for litter, oil and algae in or near the river. The next stop was The Green Bridge, we all got sticks and threw them off to see who won. After that we stopped at St George's Bridge. There was even a shopping trolley submerged in the river! Our last stop was the flood gates. The water was very oily and there was litter everywhere and even a smashed up bike in the mud. This was the most polluted area we went to. To finish off we got biscuits and then headed back to School.' By Penny

School I am Bus

'On Wednesday we went on the bus to talk about what we are thankful for, our likes and dislikes and what our qualities are. I really enjoyed listening to what my friends had to say. I felt safe to share my thoughts on the bus. We also made pizza, it was delicious and fun!' By Beren
