This week has been filled with festive cheer, kicking off with our Christmas carol concerts on Monday and Tuesday. It was such a joy to see so many parents come along to support the children – your presence truly made the events even more special. The performances were heartwarming, and I’m sure you’ll agree, they really helped get us all into the festive spirit! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us.
On Tuesday, the children enjoyed a special Christmas dinner, and it was lovely to have some families join us for the occasion. The festive atmosphere and good food made it a memorable celebration.
Back in class, we've been getting into the holiday spirit with some Christmas-themed learning! One of the children's favourite activities was a maths problem-solving lesson inspired by The Snowman. After reading the story, the children were challenged to design a new scarf for the snowman, using only two colours and a repeating pattern.
To wrap up, here are some lovely photos showcasing our Christmas activities. We've been busy with Christmas writing, making reindeer food, and singing lots of festive songs while we play. It’s been a week full of creativity, laughter, and holiday spirit!
The children's Christmas party is this Friday morning, and we can’t wait to celebrate! Please remember to bring in your contribution of food for the party. We might also have a surprise visitor for the children—exciting times ahead! Just a quick reminder that school will close at 1pm, so please ensure all children are collected by then.
