In every show, movie, or book there's always a place where students hang out. Whether it's the library, a hidden room or some random diner accross the road, students will go with their friends laughing, smiling and talking. This "hangout place" is where students socialize, give or get daily updates of each others lives. No matter what, this is a place full of excitement, laughs, and joy. A place to be social, smile and enjoy school, even though class still exists.
At Hackley this place is the Tuck. Each grade has their own specific place. The seniors have the senior lounge, the juniors have the junior hallway and the freshman and sophomores have the Tuck. Though seniors and juniors will come in to get the delicious snacks the Tuck has to offer, the freshmen and the sophomores hang inside there extensively. Since the freshman hallway and sophomore bubble isn't the most desirable place to be in, the two grades migrate towards the library or the Tuck.
Being in the Tuck has been a place of for students to enjoy snacks, talk and have fun. Though it is a very small place, the cramped area, the laughs, the smiles and the happy faces of students creates a place of warmth and excitement. The Tuck is the freshman and sophomore's hang out place just as the diner across the road or that secret room.
The Tuck is a place of excitement, fun, and where students love to hangout to enjoy delicious snacks. Students are able to appreciate their friends along with having a great time to talk with each other. It provides a sense of community and life for students. An escape with friends for a while until classes starts again.
