The University of Scranton (34 points) and defending champion Susquehanna University (31 points) round out the top four, while Goucher College (27 points) looks to make a push up the standings. Elizabethtown College (18 points), Drew University (17 points), and Juniata College (7 points) completed the poll.

CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY

  • Head Coach: Steve Rahn (7th Season)
  • Team Titles: 0

Catholic University delivered its best-ever finish at the 2024 Landmark Conference Championships, scoring 147 points—just seven shy of champion Susquehanna University. Head coach Steven Rahn and his staff were recognized as the Women's Indoor Coaching Staff of the Year.

Reigning Track Performer of the Year Kate Inglis returns to defend her titles in the 3,000-meter and 5,000-meter races. The senior holds the second-fastest time in conference history in the 3,000 and ranks fifth all-time in the 5,000.

Emily Moehringer, an NCAA All-American in the 800-meter race, is another standout to watch. Her time of 2:11.34 is the second-fastest in conference history.

Catholic’s 4x400-meter relay team is also poised to make an impact. Clare Marsh, Emily Moehringer, Zoey Brown, and Brigid Byrnes set a new conference record earlier this season, clocking in at 3:56.81.

DREW UNIVERSITY

  • Head Coach: Sean Robinson (2nd Season)
  • Team Titles: 0
  • Projected Finish: 7th

In just its second season as a varsity program, the Drew University women's track and field team is already making an impact.

Sage Hendershot etched her name into the conference record books in both track and field events. She shattered the conference long jump record with a leap of 5.73 meters, surpassing Susquehanna's Remi Acord’s 2024 mark of 5.68 meters. On the track, Hendershot ranks fourth all-time in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.84 seconds.

Emily Camlet enters the championship as the favorite in the 400-meter dash. She broke the Landmark Conference record in the event, clocking 57.88 to surpass Moravian’s Corrine Glass, whose 57.62 had stood since 2016.

ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE

  • Head Coach: Brian Falk (14th Season)
  • Team Titles: 1 (2017)
  • Projected Finish: 6th

Elizabethtown College heads into championship weekend with a deep, experienced roster ready to compete at the highest level.

Leading the way is graduate student Kelty Oaster, who has been a force across multiple events this season. She ranks in the top five in four different events, including the 400 meters, where her time of 59.05 is fourth this season and seventh all-time in conference history. In the 3,000-meter race, she posted the third-best time of the season (10:26.64) at the Blue & White Invitational.

Oaster is especially dangerous in the mile and 800-meter races. Her 4:55.98 mile ranks second this season and third all-time in conference history. In the 800 meters, she has been nearly untouchable. An NCAA All-American in the event, she shattered the Landmark Conference record at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston University, running a 2:09.46—breaking the previous mark of 2:10.18, set by current Goucher standout Tanise Thornton-Fillyaw.

GOUCHER COLLEGE

  • Head Coach: Erick Camodeca (4th Season)
  • Team Titles: 0
  • Projected Finish: 5th

First-year standout Nancy Nyadongo will be one to watch in the sprint events during championship weekend for the Gophers. She has already made her mark at Goucher, setting the conference record in the 200-meter dash (25.21) and ranking second all-time in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.73.

Nyadongo will be chasing history next Saturday, looking to break the conference 60m record of 7.65, set by Moravian’s Amanda Crooks in 2020.

Tanise Thornton-Fillyaw enters as the favorite in the 800-meter run. The NCAA All-American holds the all-time conference record in the event with a time of 2:10.18. She will also play a key role in the 4x400-meter relay, where Goucher is a strong contender for a top-three finish and All-Conference selection.

In the field events, Aryanna Paulena adds another strong presence for the Gophers. She currently ranks fourth all-time in the triple jump, positioning herself as a key competitor heading into championship weekend.

JUNIATA COLLEGE

  • Head Coach: Jake Kaylor (2nd Season)
  • Team Titles: 0
  • Projected Finish: 8th

Juniata College will look to junior Olivia Barbacci to lead the way during the championship. A standout in both the high jump and pole vault, Barbacci holds the seventh-best mark in conference history in the high jump (1.62 meters) and ranks eighth all-time in the pole vault (3.48 meters).

She also makes an impact on the track, having earned honorable mention honors last season as part of Juniata’s third-place 4x400-meter relay team alongside Rebecca Christophel, Ashley Alfree, and Camille McRoberts.

MORAVIAN UNIVERSITY

  • Head Coach: Jesse Baumann (14th Season)
  • Team Titles: 12 (2008-16, 2019, 2020)
  • Projected Finish: 2nd

Just two points behind preseason favorite Catholic University in the championship poll, Moravian University is poised to contend for its 13th league title and first since 2020.

Leading the way for head coach Jesse Baumann is Abby Giamoni, a standout in the sprints. She holds the second-fastest time in conference history in the 200-meter dash (25.26) and ranks fifth all-time in the 400-meter dash (58.77).

In distance events, Tara Smurla is a key competitor. An honorable mention selection last season after placing third in the 3,000-meter race, she ranks seventh all-time in the event (10:18.34). Smurla will also be one to watch in the 5,000-meter race, where she finished second last year to earn Second Team honors. She holds the fourth-fastest time in conference history (17:39.21) and will go head-to-head with defending champion Kate Inglis of Catholic University, who ranks fifth all-time (17:53.44).

In the field events, Kara Vashey is a top contender in the weight throw, ranking third all-time with a mark of 15.60 meters.

UNIVERSITY OF SCRANTON

  • Head Coach: Jon Cutright (2nd Season)
  • Team Titles: 0
  • Projected Finish: 3rd

The University of Scranton women’s indoor track and field team is poised for a strong showing at the Landmark Conference Championships, led by standout returners.

Jocelyn Smith, the 2024 Landmark Conference Indoor Rookie of the Year, continues to shine for the University of Scranton. She won the 200-meter dash at last year’s conference championships and recently improved her time to 25.91, moving up to eighth all-time in league history. In the 60-meter dash, she set a program record with an 8.01 finish last season but has since lowered her time to 7.88 this winter, climbing higher on the Landmark all-time list.

Samantha Sharrow, a Second Team All-Conference selection in the 200-meter dash, is also a strong contender in the long jump, where she ranks fourth all-time (5.60 meters).

In distance events, Emily Hopkins (10:16.88) and Samantha Hoffmann (10:23.91) will lead the 3,000-meter race, with Hopkins holding the sixth-fastest time in conference history. Molly White, ranked 10th all-time in the 60-meter hurdles (9.38), will also be a key contributor.

SUSQUEHANNA UNIVERSITY

  • Head Coach: Ethan Senecal (7th Season)
  • Team Titles: 2 (2022, 2023, 2024)
  • Projected Finish: 4th

Susquehanna University enters the 2025 indoor track and field season with its sights set on a fourth consecutive Landmark Conference title. The River Hawks, who captured their third straight championship in 2024, return a deep and talented roster, including nine All-Conference performers.

Leading the way is reigning Indoor Field Athlete of the Year Remi Acord. Acord dominated last year’s championship meet, setting a new conference record in the long jump and claiming gold in the triple jump. She will be a key force once again in both events.

Hurdles standout Chloe Yoder also returns, bringing championship experience and record-breaking speed. Yoder holds both the all-time Landmark Conference record and the championship meet record in the 60-meter hurdles, making her a favorite to defend her title.
