Paracas & Ica

On our last day we took a day trip South of Lima to the port town of Paracas and the desert dunes of Ica and the oasis of Huacachina. In Paracas we took a boat out to see protected islands of birds and other animals.

That they both seemed to be staring at me was disconcerting

Then we shifted over to the sand dunes of Ica for some dune buggy action

And some sand boarding

We caught sunset before heading back to Lima for our flight the next morning.
