OV Students Explore Writing and Storytelling
Students in grades 3-5 recently participated in a special virtual field trip with Jeff Kinney, author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Through Scholastic Story Voice, students were able to see inside the author’s creative studio, hear an excerpt from his upcoming book, and preview details about a new movie releasing this December. The visit offered students an engaging look at the writing process and encouraged them to think about how stories are created and brought to life. Special thanks to Mrs. Thorp for coordinating this opportunity and helping make reading and storytelling exciting for our students!
