For this typography project I did one of my favorite movie characters, Lightning McQueen. My goal was to try and make lightning McQueen into a character in all worlds and also make his surroundings into words as well. I feel like I did a great job with the colors and also a good job with turning the character into the words and representing him and his surroundings. I hope that my audience will get who the character is and also understand where he is in the scene and the importance of where he is.
For my project I decided to do the beat maker Metro Boomin who recently came out with multiple albums. The goal of this project was trying to turn Metro Boomin into a psychedelic poster. I feel like that I did good turning Metro into a psychedelic poster and I think I did good with the color scheme as well.I felt pretty good about this project because I was able to change the colors and designs on the art to relate it to the psychedelic theme. I hope that my audience gets the theme and also I hope that they understand who it is and also what they have done.
For my 988 poster I decided to go for a retro broadcast to promote getting help using the 988 hotline. My goal was to portray a retro theme but also to relay the message of using 988 to ask for help. I felt pretty good about this project considering that it was the first project of the year. When my audience views this I want them to be able to know that it is okay to ask for help and also where theyt can get help just by calling or texting 988.
For the Tim Marrs project I did the Ravens playoff run since during that time the Ravens had just won the divisional playoffs. My goal with this piece was to try and display how the Ravens were a dominant team at the time after the playoff win. I also was trying to showcase the athleticism of the players. I felt good about this piece because it is my favorite football team and this project allowed me to display my love for their team. I hope that my audience will understand the dominance of the Ravens football team and see the athleticism displayed.
Shepard Fairey project. During This project I was inspired by how shapard Fairy used influential people to make a message about what they did and how they were important. In my project I did Neil Armstrong because I felt that he was a very inspirational person in our history in the “Space Race" .I felt pretty good about this project because I felt like I really grasped the concept of the influential people. My goal was to display the importance of Neil Armstrong being the first person to walk on the moon and end the space race. When my audience sees my piece, I hope that they get the concept of how influential Neil Armstrong was.
