I enjoy getting to know people, which is only possible through respect and patience. I don't take pictures "in passing"; instead, I try to stage the protagonists in a way that they like themselves in my pictures. I am curious to learn who they are, and this turns the process into an opportunity for us to talk.
Berlin
I've lived in Berlin since 2003 and have been photographing its citizens all these years. I have studied here, worked as a location scout and taken my own pictures all around town. I know no other part better than Friedrichshain - where I live and where I started my first blog: for www.Sonntagstrasse.de I've taken over 200 portraits so far...
Italia
I grew up in Umbria / Italy and I visit my old home every year. Since 2005 I've been there as a photographer. For the blog La Chiusa I take photos and videos mainly of rural life and nature in the area of Monte Peglia.
