Principal Message
Dear St. Paul Families, Thank you to all the families who were able to join us for our Drop-In Demo of Learning this week. It was wonderful to welcome you into our classrooms and share the great learning happening in our school. We truly value the partnership we have with our families, and it was a joy to connect with so many of you. This Sunday marks the First Sunday of Advent and the beginning of the Christmas season—a time of anticipation, hope, and joyful preparation. As a Catholic school community, we look forward to journeying through Advent together, reflecting on the promise of Christ’s coming and celebrating the light He brings into our world. We also have many exciting things planned for the month of December, including the return of our 12 Days of Christmas, our annual pancake breakfast, and our Social Justice initiative, which invites students to share the spirit of giving with those in need. More details will be shared in this Memo and the coming Memos. Wishing you a restful weekend and a blessed start to the Advent season. Mrs. Carr-Jeschke & Mrs. McNamee
Week of December 1-5, 2025
Read A Thon Wrap Up!
We would like to thank our St. Paul community for another successful Read a Thon! As a school, students collected $8670! These funds will be used to purchase new books for our school library, as well as to create a cozy reading nook in the Learning Commons for library days. More exciting, is that as a school, over the last week, students read over 40,000 minutes! Amazing!!
We are so excited to see students reading and enjoying the brand new books that will be in the library and to continue to showcase their love of reading!

Boxes of Hope
This year's Boxes of Hope are in support of ECSD's Centre for Diverse Learners (CFDL) School. This school houses ECSD's inclusive and Diverse programming. We will be collecting in the main lobby throughout the month of December.
A Cozy St. Paul Christmas
From the November 7, 2025 Principal Memo: With the loss of instructional and preparation time in October, we have decided to adjust the format of our Christmas Concert this year to best support both student learning and our celebration of the Christmas season as a school community.
In lieu of the traditional concert at St. John the Evangelist church on December 10, homeroom classes will instead be sharing a Christmas carol celebration on December 18 at 11:15 AM in the school gym, following our pancake breakfast.
Families and extended families are warmly invited to join us — and even join in! — as students share songs that celebrate the joy and meaning of the season together.
