Fall Art Portfolio By Halle devore

- This piece is of a cinnamon cockatiel, a curios bee, some Sakura flowers, and a handful of rosy strawberries on a piece of dictionary paper depicting life.

- I learned how to use and mix different types of watercolors in Corel painter 2020. I also learned how to make these bright colors stand out and pop despite being mostly transparent.

- My goal was to express what I thought the word life could represent, of course these items aren't the only things that could mean life these are just what I felt fit best during the drawing process.

- I really like this one, especially because of how all the colors stand out and draw attention to the eye individually. And I do really love the bird.

- I hope the audience sees that I was trying to represent life at it is described in a dictionary. I also hope the audience sees each different meanings of life from each types of living thing.

- This Piece is of a fiery blue, white, and gold dragon, looking the viewers way with its moth open in a snarl.

- I learned how to use a various array of colored metals, gluing them onto my drawing, making the dragon shimmer in a metallic light. I also leaned how to use a laminator to use the heat of the machine to glue the metals in the specific spots I desired.

- My goal was the make the fire on the body of the dragon look hot and to have an actual brightness like a fire does. My other goal was to make some areas brighter, like more light was on that spot rather than other places.

- I do like this one, I just think that I could've done better and added more metal to it. Other than that small grievance I do like this one.

- All i hope the audience sees is a dragon engulfed in a bright blue flame.

This drawing is of a skeleton-like witch in front of a bubbling like cauldron.

I learned how to use and cut a foam board piece to set my drawing on and make the drawing look 3D, the foam board was very tricky to cut . I also learned how to use Elmer's cement glue, very smelly stuff.

This time, my goal was to make everything pop out in a 3D fashion especially with the bubbles and cauldron, so it actually looks like she's behind the cauldron. I also wanted this same effect for her neck piece, I wanted it to look as if it was popping out.

I like this one a lot, but as with the last one I think there more could have been done.

All I want the audience to see is the 3D effect I gave this work.

This artwork is of an angelic like being with great big wings and many eyes. With horns with ribbons and a bell attached.

I learned how to use multi-media to created different patterns and looks across the artwork, as well as to cut out the different pieces of this work out of big things of paper.

This last time my goal was to give this artwork many different styles and techniques. to make everything stand out.

this one is my absolute favorite! I love this one a ton, but I will admit I wanted to do more.

I hope the audience a divine like being with lots of feathers and a holy color scheme

Thank You
